Little Bit more of This and That....

As most of you can tell... I love the color pink... It brightens my day and just looking at it makes me happy.

After reading my blog, my husband was upset that I had left something out of my blog... And boy... was he right... I hadn't mentioned him in my blog.. How could I forget such an important person in my life.

I have been married to the same wonderful man for the past 24 years.  We dated in when I was in college and broke up after that.  It wasn't for a few years that I had seen or heard from him.  I was walking in the mall one day and I thought I saw him.  I wasn't sure if it was him so I sort of yelled his name and turned around the other way and looked to see if it was him... It was and the rest is history. That was in March of 1986.  We started dating again in March and were married in November of 1986.

We are still the best of friends to this day.  We have our moments, but our life is great!!

Welcome to my Blog.....

Wow... Blogging just became a new experience for me.  I have just completed my first class in Effective Writing for the health care professional. I must say that I was very proud of my grade in that class... I had the perfect "A"... 1000 points out of a possible 1000 points... I haven't  had a perfect score for a long time....

On with this new blog.  I have decided for my blog to write about my everyday life and things that happen.  Since most of you that will be reading this blog don't know me I will give a little back ground on myself. 

In April of this year, being the year 2010, I came to the realization that I was going to be finished with some of my jobs.  My job with my neice that I have babysat since she was just days old was ending. She started school this year and didn't require me to watch her on Thursdays anymore.  My daughter graduated nursing school and moved away from home... Talk about empty nest... So.... I decided to do something for ME...I chose going back to school.  This was the best decision that I have ever made.  I didn't realize how much going back to school would mean to me.  I have found a new beginning.  I have been out of school for quite some time and I wasn't sure that school would be for me, but I have found out that through determination and newly acquired organization skills, I can do it!  I love school this time around and can't wait to get started with my new career.

Enough of that.  I have a wonderful job and a great group of co-workers that I look forward to seeing every day.  I work in a veterinary clinic. This has been a very rewarding job for me.  I love animals and everything that goes along with them.  Animals are a gift from God.  What is better than a greeting from you dog after a long day at work !!! They are always glad to see you, never ask for money nor do they every talk back to you!!!!   Animals are a great part of life.
